Masks Off

This work is the first of my series, Masks Off. This is a mixed media painting which I created in May 2020. I created this just after graduating with a Master in Counselling and Art Therapy from the University of Edinboro, Pennsylvania, USA.

I was working part time at a long-term care facility up until COVID-19, and I really miss leading group art sessions. I created this piece alongside my youngest daughter, Sophie. Masks are the new reality and creating together has helped us get through these challenging times.
