Warda Ahmed
Karachi, Pakistan

Warda was a co-presenter at the CATA-ACAT 2020 Virtual Conference in a presentation on comic arts. She shares: “Art has always been my way out from all the negative things, I use painting as a tool to express my feelings. I personally believe that art enables us to express our feelings. The most beautiful thing about art is that in creating art, people are able to focus on their own perceptions, imagination and feelings. By painting, I can easily overcome any kind of stress and anxiety.”

Elisabeth Ioannides
Athens, Greece

Elisabeth is an art psychotherapist and education curator at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens, Greece.

In the wake of the New Year, I have started taking photographs every day from my balcony at dusk, noticing how the change in nature and the surrounding environment affects a change in me.

The energy

That emanates

Penetrates my inner being

Today,

I am reborn

Again…. And again
